There seems to be a collective fetish going on about acoustic guitarists with unusual techniques. There are dozens of these guyes (or gals) to be found on Youtube. I tend to find their percussive style of playing a little repetitive, but here's one guy that really interested me:

I'm not pretending to be the ultimate guitar player, but it seems to me that this guy's playing isn't really accurate... My ear ached a few time while listening...
And by the way I'm always amazed by what these guys manage to do with a guitar and two hands, but I also tend to think that the result is somewhat repetitive... Anyway, for the fun you gotta check "Andy McKee" on youtube, and his cover of "Africa"
And nothing to do with that, but I've juste heard some JJM playing with the duet Petra Magoni and Feruccio Spinetti (a cover of the standard "fever"), and that was awesome ! Proof that great music isn't about the tricky way you play it, it's about music and nothing else.

Seagull,
Where did you hear that ?
I quite like Musica Nuda, even though the singer can get a little grating at times...

It's a live album "Live at fip", I heard it on that radio : funny enough, I was all "that must me JJM backing there" while listening, until the singer mentioned him at the end of the tune... He's really got a sound you can't mistake with others
